In accord with these laws, we will take proper action upon receiving any legitimate notice of copyright infringement. We urge copyright owners, as well as those authorized to act on their behalf, to notify us of any alleged infringements related to the content of this Web Site. To submit a Notice of Copyright Infringement, please follow the procedure outlined below. Please note that you will be held liable for damages resulting from misrepresented information that appears on your Notice of Copyright Infringement.
The following information must be included in your Notice of Copyright Infringement:

These guidelines stipulate a notice procedure in which the responsible user may submit a Counter-Notification, should he or she claim lawful use of the material. Provided that the claim is valid, the infringing material will be immediately removed from the Web Site, accompanying notification of the users involved.
If you believe an invalid Notification of Copyright Infringement has been made in regards to material you have posted, you may submit a Counter-Notification. In accord with section 512(g)(3) of the DMCA, all Counter-Notifications must include the following information:
- Your name, address, and a phone number where you may be reached
- A physical or electronic signature

- A statement asserting that, under penalty of perjury, you have good faith belief that the information was removed due to a mistake or misidentification of the material
- A statement asserting that you consent to the jurisdiction of Federal District Court for the district in which you are located, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided Notification under Subsection ©(1)(C) or an agent of such person.
Once you have sent us a notice containing the above information, your Counter-Notification claim will be presented to the person who originally filed the Notice of Copyright Infringement relevant to the material you submitted. Under the provisions of Section 512, CandidEarthlings.com is allowed to restore the removed material strictly between ten and fourteen days following the submission of the Counter-Notification.
CandidEarthlings.com has the right to immediately terminate users who are found to be repeat infringers. Furthermore, CandidEarthlings.com maintains the right to handle non-compliant Notices in whatever manner appears to be reasonable under the given circumstances.
